Based in Freiburg, Germany
40-hours a week.
Required very good knowledge of German language.

Career profiles:
Paint technician, chemical laboratory technician, chemical technical assistant or similar profiles.
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Team Lead Product Development & Technical Service to join the laboratory team as soon as possible.
You will lead the team with expertise, leadership skills, and a strong focus on quality and efficiency. In this role, you will report directly to the Head of Operations.
Responsibilities:
· Leading a team of three project managers and one laboratory assistant
· Collaborating in cross-departmental project teams
· Serving as the main point of contact for sales, customers, procurement, and production
· Ensuring compliance with quality standards and safety regulations
· Coordinating projects and resource planning in the laboratory
· Acting as a key contact for your team, providing support on technical and organizational issues
· Monitoring and optimizing laboratory processes and workflows
· Training and developing the team
· Improving and documenting development processes
· Continuously researching and developing new testing methods
· Building product expertise within the team
· Budgeting and controlling development costs, including maintaining statistics
· Developing and tracking necessary KPIs
· Exchanging knowledge with our U.S. colleagues
· Attending trade shows and conferences
· Maintaining contact with research institutions and institutes regarding technical innovations and market trends
Your Background:
· Completed chemical/technical training such as CTA, chemical laboratory technician, or a chemical/technical degree
· Several years of experience in the laboratory sector, ideally in the film or coating industry, with strong knowledge of the roll-to-roll (R2R) process
· Initial leadership experience or relevant qualifications and ambitions in team management
· Project management experience
· Analytical and structured working style
· Strong communication skills and good time management
· Enjoy working across different departments
· Good English skills
