Global Project Manager – Operational Excellence & Growth

Based in Europe (possible locations UK, Austria, France, Netherlands, Poland, Spain or Germany)

Salary: Commensurate with experience

 

The Company: 

Our client is a global supplier of sustainable packaging solutions.  The company operates from 23 production facilities in nine countries, employing more than 6,000 people with sales of approximately $4.8bn.  They create working environments where employees feel valued, can work to their full potential and where their achievements are celebrated.

Role Overview:

  • Primary focus is running the Lean Production roll-out project that focuses on defining, deploying, and implementing a production system with the aim to drive growth and development across company’s sites.
  • Key responsibility will be supporting the creation of lean methodology standards, conducting audits, and assessing workbooks and equipment standards.
  • Additionally, the role requires regular reporting the status of the plants to ensure alignment with organizational goals.

Education & Training: 

  • Graduated engineer.
  • Lean/6Sigma certification or equivalent.
  • Fluent in English.
  • MS Office advance and Power BI.

Experience: 

  • Several years’ experience in developing and implementing Lean/6Sigma methodologies.
  • International project experience.
  • Several years in manufacturing environments (ideally automotive industry or a sector that is renowned for its commitment to operations excellence).
