Commercial Manager/Sales Manager

Homebased in Mexico City

Listgrove has been retained by a rapidly growing international manufacturer operating in the Petrochemicals and Plastics Industries, the company has a healthy growth strategy which aims to grow by 30% within the next 5 years. They are looking to recruit a Commercial Manager who will drive sales alongside a Sales Representative who they will have full responsibility for.

Summary:

Reporting to the US based Vice President Sales, the Commercial Manager’s sales focus will be split between producers and converters, with 30 % of their time focused on mentoring and developing a Sales Representative with around 3 years experience.

Candidate Skills and Attributes:

· The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated new business “Hunter” with in-depth knowledge of the flexible packaging market.
· A technical background coupled with proven business to business sales or technical service experience.
· Strong leadership, proven management of small teams.
· Proven experience in the films/masterbatch or resins sector.
· Home Office located in Mexico City.
· Language skills: English and Spanish fluent.
· Strong communication
· Proficient in value-based selling, and use of sales tools including customer relationship management (CRM) tools.
· Self-driven and results oriented

Qualifications:

· Degree educated in; Chemical Engineering, Polymer Chemistry, Polymers Science & Engineering Materials Science or a business background with extensive technical training.
· Knowledge of the polyethylene film producer market in Europe.
