The Background

In November 2023, the Head of HR at a leading global supplier of recyclable metal packaging was tasked with filling three critical roles for their site in the UK. Having worked on the roles with multiple agencies on a contingency basis for a number of months, and finding that candidates were largely not meeting the brief in terms of relevancy and quality, they decided that another approach was required. Following a recommendation from Dick Searle, CEO at The Packaging Federation, the client chose to collaborate with Listgrove for our industry specialism and proven results.

The Process

After a challenging eight months of interviews, meeting with candidates and struggling to fill the roles, upon partnering with Listgrove, the company was able to successfully fulfil all three roles within six weeks of engagement. The Listgrove team took the time time to truly understand the company’s needs, their culture fit and any additional technical requirements of the role.
